New members are encouraged to request orientation training for all of the equipment we provide. This is free for you and will allow you not only to use equipment safely but to maximize your benefits.
At all other times, any staff member will gladly work with you to show you how to use our equipment and address questions/concerns you may have.
Just stop and ask - customer service is a top priority!
Paid Personal Training
Our staff offers paid personal training and support in the area of nutrition. They will work specifically with your goals and needs to create a customized program just for you!
Bodyworx offers appointment based table and chair massages. We have a licensed Massage Therapist in house. She makes her own schedule and charges her own rates for her services. You can find more info at the front desk at the gym. Membership is not required to have a massage.
Yoga gets your blood flowing. More specifically, the relaxation exercises you learn in yoga can help your circulation, especially in your hands and feet. Yoga also gets more oxygen to your cells, which function better as a result. Reduces stiffness and increases balance and flexibility. Yoga is taught by a certified instructor. You should bring a mat and plan on having bare feet.
Silver Sneakers Circuit Class: This workout routine is designed for the aging population who are looking to get strength training while raising the heart rate. These workouts contain a variety of low impact exercises put together in circuit, or rounds. Improves mental awareness, balance and improves your strength.
Silver Sneakers Chair Yoga:
This Yoga class can help slow down the affects of the aging process my maintaining muscle softness and flexibility, keeping the mind alert and awake, encouraging relaxation and strengthening muscles and joints. Its multi-pronged approach can encourage the body, mind and spirit to remain healthy and strong while reducing the effects of many age-related issues.
Both classes are taught by a certified Silver Sneakers Circuit and Yoga instructor for your safety!
PiYo and Zumba
PiYo combine the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. And, we crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.
Zumba is a dance/fitness workout using rhythms from around the globe. It's more like a party than a class! It's fun, exciting, energetic, and will make you feel amazing. Instead of being a chore you have to do, you will look forward to your hour of stress free, guilt free, work out!
